Hi, I’m Nicky - founder of Nicky Narrates and the community behind Nicky’s Narrative Collective, a book club and subscription service built around one simple idea: helping people fall (back) in love with reading!

For me, books are more than stories, they’re immersive experiences. I believe in reading with your whole self: sound, scent, memory, feeling, and imagination. Stories have the power to shape our thoughts, deepen our empathy, and expand our creative inner worlds. I don’t just read books - I live them, and I’ve built a community that does too.

Every reading experience I create is intentionally designed - from hand-curated book boxes filled with meaningful objects, to playlists that echo a book’s mood, to events that make a novel feel like a world you’ve stepped into. Making a book your entire personality for a month 😆 - it’s a joyful practice of connection and self-care.

Reading nurtures empathy, fuels imagination, and strengthens creativity. It connects us to each other and to ourselves. It opens hearts, broadens perspectives, and reminds us that we’re not alone - even in our most complex thoughts and feelings.

My book club reads widely and passionately - embracing powerful, diverse narratives and celebrating the richness of global storytelling. I believe in the magic that happens when the right book reaches the right reader and in creating the kind of spaces where that magic can take root and flourish.
